After downloading the Firmware package and the ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer_(Modified)
Go to this folder in the FW-pack \mk-firmware-pack-20200415\MK\HL-DT-ST\BU40N-U
You Should see "HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-U101-MM01201-211711301153.bin"
^^^
Paste the ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer_(Modified).EXE in the same folder as the .bin file
Run ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer.EXE as Administrator (Right-Click ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer.EXE Run as administrator)
Make sure your archgon drive is selected and select the firmware. (.bin file above. >> HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-U101-MM01201-211711301153.bin)
After selecting the Firmware hit "START"
Now the drive will eject itself.
For me the drive ejected and the blue status bar had a few notches to go before completing and hung there.
When I noticed the program "freezing" I left the program sitting for about 10mins and then I closed ASUS out.
I opened MakeMKV and My UHD Drive had been successfully flashed. I then backed up and ripped Ghost In The Shell 4K UHD 25th Anniversary Edition
Ripped and Backed up with ZERO Errors.
